Skardu is a town in Pakistan’s Gilgit-Baltistan region and serves as the Skardu District’s capital. Skardu is situated at the confluence of the Indus and Shigar Rivers at an elevation of almost 2,500 meters in the 10 kilometers wide 40 kilometers long Skardu Valley.
Skardu, worldwide popular for climbing, mountaineering. Skardu is also hosting the second highest mountain in the world and the highest peak in Pakistan, K2 (8,611 m). In addition, local people’s scenery, history, customs, and hospitality attract millions of visitors from all year round.
